Jaymie knew exactly when to step in and when to step aside when helping me labor at home and then at the hospital. Our goal in hiring a doula was to enhance our birth experience and ensure our preferences were listened to - and Jaymie delivered. She was the anchor that held everything together. Money well spent.

At first I was skeptical about hiring doula. But from the first phone call, my wife felt connected with Jaymie so we gave it a try and I’m glad we did. She helped us navigate my wife’s pregnancy with ease, plan out our birth preferences, and helped us prepare for postpartum. When it was time, she helped my wife labor at home for the better part of a day before we left for the hospital. Once we got there, she never left my wife’s side and continuously advocated for us so I was able to be fully present with my wife and baby the whole time. If you’re thinking about it, hire Jaymie. Especially if you want a more natural childbirth experience

During my labor I had very irregular intense and close together contractions from the start, which wore on my moral and my belief that I would be able to birth my son unmedicated. Jaymie was there to encourage me to breathe and relax. She provided me with a lot of comfort not just emotionally but also physically, by encouraging me to move, doing hip squeezes and applying a TENS unit. After laboring at home/in the car for 6 hrs and 3 hrs at the hospital I successfully had an unmedicated VBAC. This was largely because of Jaymie's support and I do not believe I could have done it unmedicated without her support and encouragement. During my labor I had cervical lacerations that lead to a lot of blood loss that required me to go to the OR shortly after birth. Jaymie stayed at the hospital with my newborn son and husband to make sure my wishes for the baby were honored and to support my family while I was in surgery. I could not be more thankful for her.

Jaymie was amazing! So thankful to have her support during my labor and delivery. She was professional and knowledgeable, but also extremely kind and caring. She worked so hard to preserve the sacred place and work that is birth. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking doula support!

Upon the initial phone interview with Jaymie- we knew she was the one. She was relatable, so well informed, and warm. Someone who is knowledgable but also makes you feel at home - is of the utmost importance. (Especially as a first time mom!) Although my birth did not go as planned due to an emergency situation, Jaymie was by our side the whole way. She made the process as relaxing as possible, while also advocating for us in the hospital setting. We loved the pre natal visits and the post natal visit too! We now have a beautiful baby girl, and had a great teammate to help us through it all!

I had the privilege of booking my birth doula services with Jaymie for my second birth but first all natural drug-free birth. I sincerely could not have done that without her by my side lending me her strength when I felt weak, her calm when I had none, and all the knowledge she has for supporting labor and birth. Her prenatal home visits really helped me connect with her so by the time we were in the birthing space ready to welcome my baby, I felt such an amazing close bond with her. She knew exactly what I needed without having to ask, or even know what that was myself at times. Doulas are so instrumental but Jaymie especially is on a level all to herself.

Jaymie played such an important role in the birth of my son two months ago. I was able to have a successful VBAC and felt empowered in all my decisions.
